Assignments utilize the discipline of civil
engineering, construction management and general
contracting. Focus is on the proper execution of
contractor-owner-architect-engineer
responsibilities, quality control, accident
investigations, OSHA compliance, dispute resolution
and claims. Provided expert testimony on personal
injury, workplace safety, and evaluation of existing
construction for contract compliance. Testified at
trial, and wrote numerous reports which led to
settlement. Assigned as expert to testify in the
World Trade Center Disaster Site Litigation
following the 9/11 attack. Defended an architect in
litigation by a Nevada public agency. Wrote a report
which led to settlement regarding a prison
construction project in Alaska.
Consulting assignments include: (1) Project Manager
for a civil engineering firm in Las Vegas; (2)
Quality Control Manager for two general contractors
on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects, (3)
Consultant for general contractor on an apartment
project in Carson City, Nevada, (4) Consultant to an
Oregon based general contractor on a historic
restoration project, (5) Material witness during
construction of the Venetian Casino Resort Hotel in
Las Vegas, (6) Delay analysis and dispute resolution
as a team member of experts hired by the insurance
company regarding the Las Vegas Monorail
construction. (7) Prepared claims for a Las Vegas
earthmoving contractor.

Staten Island, New York. Consulting in forensic

Additional professional experience:

Starting with Bechtel
Corporation in San Francisco, I grew in progressively more
responsible assignments to Project Manger for general
contractors. Assignments included renovation of a Navy base
into a missile facility on Kwajalein, Marshall Islands.
As Project Superintendent for
the State of Michigan’s Building Department I oversaw
construction of a college expansion program at Northern
Michigan University which included a boiler plant, a science
building, and a utility distribution system. Also completed
a hospital addition and a laundry building at Newberry State
Hospital.
As Resident Construction
Manager for General Electric’s Real Estate and Construction
Operation in Schenectady New York, I was assigned six (6)
industrial construction and capital improvement projects in
the east coast, all completed on time within budget.
Managed over one billion in
new construction nationwide. . Earned outstanding reputation
for the ability to take charge of poorly-managed and
behind-schedule projects, reorganizing them to achieve and
surpass all objectives.
